Blood sugar spikes. Metabolism flatlining like an old laptop in the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s what researchers at MIT just confirmed. They fed mice a high-fat diet. The mice got fat (shocker). But under the hood? Things got ugly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2699\ufe0f Enzymes misfiring.<br>\u26a1 Oxidative stress going through the roof.<br>\ud83e\uddea Cells couldn\u2019t keep up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more fat, the more metabolic damage. Especially in male mice. (Sorry, guys.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But here\u2019s the twist &#8211;<br>They added a common antioxidant (BHA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Boom.<\/em><br>Less weight gain.<br>Better blood sugar.<br>Lower inflammation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The antioxidant didn\u2019t make things perfect. But it brought the system back from the edge.
